Compare the strands
Collectivist and Individualist anarchism across the spec areas - or all four sub-traditions
How this works. Anarchism on Paper 2 has two strands: Collectivist (Proudhon, Bakunin, Kropotkin, Goldman) and Individualist (Stirner, plus anarcho-capitalism). The exam wants you to compare them. Pick an area, write what each strand says, then write the differences and similarities. Use the green Check my work button for a quick keyword check. Reveal the model answers when you are ready and compare. The 2025 examiner report on Paper 2 had a Q on anarchism and the state - the warning is to use named thinkers and not to treat the two strands as identical. The Strands switch on the right opens a second mode: all four sub-traditions the spec names inside the umbrellas (Anarcho-communism, Mutualism, Egoism, Anarcho-capitalism), with a random pair to draw.
Differences where the two strands disagree
Write the points of disagreement in your own words. Try to weave the two strands together in each sentence rather than listing them one then the other.
Hint
Similarities where the two strands agree
Even strands that look opposed often share core anarchist ground. Find what they have in common.
